About PriJiva
A youth-led civic movement transforming awareness into proactive stewardship for a healthier planet and a better quality of life.
Originating from Prithvi (Planet) and Jiva (Life), PriJiva is a student-led community built on the conviction that meaningful change does not require institutional authorization—it begins when young people care enough to take initiative. By combining hands-on environmental action, civic education, open public forums, and direct community action, we convert everyday awareness into lasting civic responsibility.
How PriJiva Began
PriJiva was founded on the conviction that meaningful change does not always require institutional authorization—it begins when young people care enough to take initiative. Driven by the belief that students and youth are not just the future, but the innovators, problem-solvers, and changemakers of today, our movement set out to prove that youthful initiative can transform civic reality.
The journey began in the digital space, using reels, carousels, and creative campaigns to spark honest conversations about pressing environmental and urban issues. That momentum quickly revealed that true transformation requires more than passive knowledge—it takes empathy, critical thinking, and the courage to take direct action.
Moving from screens to the ground, PriJiva transitioned into hands-on community action across Hyderabad. What began as youth dialogue has expanded into active grassroots initiatives—bringing young citizens and communities together through environmental restoration, civic education workshops in schools and colleges, and open public forums where people collaborate to create lasting change.
